Today I noticed a small software bug which affects some (~20%)units, the symptom is that when upgrading the firmware instead of going into boot-loader mode the device just resets.

I have released a firmware update which fixes this on all units, once you update your Spectra with this code the firmware update will work without any issue.

To do this ...

Connect your Spectra, start the utility, click update firmware, when you see the Spectra display its start up pattern pull out the USB, hold the four corner arcade buttons and connect the USB again. The device should now show the blue boot-loader pattern and the utility will continue the update process.

Someone tried to close that hole at the bottom?

I believe after a while there must be a lot of dust in it.. easy job with a vacuum cleaner but still..

Just finished mate ....

@botstein

I hope it is happy in its eventual home!

@TheRad

I understand where you are coming from but unlike the 3D the Spectra does not need to be picked up to be used, and the Midi Fighter Classic & Pro are both 1.5"

@djAB3

Unfortunately because of the custom nature of the Spectra we are not distributing via other retailers just yet, if and when we do it will likely be in a fixed configuration chosen by the retailer.

I wouldn't want to set that next to a midifighter 3d. That is all i'm stating. I wish they could have kept their new products level.

Since there's no motion control in Spectra those legs are not necessary.

I don't believe so. You can't customize the 3D. they come standard: they all look the same.

with the spectra you have over 1000' combinations.

You will have better luck with an answer either asking DJTT or thomann support directly.

Thanks man, im considering one of these over an F1.

I do love my MF3D but prefer it soley for effects and Cue points, and a Spectra is a strong contender in my eyes for a slot in my rig as a remix deck. The only disadvantage would be the filters and faders, but then i haven't had a go with an F1, so wouldn't know if they are all that integral.

If anyone has an F1/Spectra for remix decks can they let me know how they get on in comparison?

EU = same for every country within the EU, except those countries that want to act special like UK (I THINK)

Dutycalculator.com

I get like +-40euro's for belgium - for MF spectra basic: 175+24.99shipping.

edit: just saw you live also in belgium

If DJTT plan to upgrade Pro with the same Spectra board (as classic to pro) I'd dare to say yes. But it's a good question.
