Problem with new firmware update for 2.1 Please help!!!!!!!! Posted on: 31.12.2012 by Genevive Pervis I have been trying to get this problem taken care of for weeks but no body at DJTT has been able to help and i just get the run around when I call. I believe the problem is that the revision ID is "0x0500" I am not sure how i managed to get there but I am unable to get it to "0x0600" or "0x0200". The controller also does not show up in traktor. I have imported maps and made sure the in and out ports are set to the VCI. The audio out for master and monitor are not connected and it doesn't give me the option for anything else. Please help!!!!!! | |

Genevive Pervis 31.12.2012 | ok thanks for your help |
Libbie Orion 31.12.2012 | not to pass the buck Rmac but i noticed you never posted any issue to that mapping page. I mean, you didnt use the comment feature there. If you do it, the mapping creator will see your message and help Posting the issue here on the community s, means he will help you (but somehow he would need to be notified that the topic was created) i would start on that page |
Genevive Pervis 31.12.2012 | Oh I see here is the link to the mapping https://maps.djranking s.com/mappings/166 |
Libbie Orion 31.12.2012 | i mentioned the MF because its the 1st thing i know of by flashflooder. So can you post a link to the mapping you downloaded? |
Genevive Pervis 31.12.2012 | and yes im using traktor pro 2.6 |
Genevive Pervis 31.12.2012 | and am not using a midi fighter so idk why your telling me to open a MF utility |
Genevive Pervis 31.12.2012 | im using v2.1 of the mapping that requires you to upgrade your firmware from v1 to v2 |
Libbie Orion 31.12.2012 | PS you never mentioned WHICH mapping you are trying out. Yes you said FlashFlooders but he has 8 of them |
Libbie Orion 31.12.2012 | you using Traktor Pro 2.6? When you imported the TSI into traktor did you use the BIG IMPORT button at the bottom, Import it Twice (DONT FORGOT TO IMPORT IT TWICE) then once its imported a second time, select your IN OUT ports then close traktor and reopen traktor while the MF is plugged into the computer directly. ---------------------- I have spoken to Beaubryte and its common for Traktor Pro 2.6 to have a bug when... say you shut things down then restart the machine open traktor sometimes youll notice that the CUSTOM MAPPING you were using, is not working correctly. What you should do at that point is go to the listing of mappings you have DELETE the custom one you are having trouble with shut down traktor (in this case) open the MF utility Re-Flash the setup file to your MF in the utility (im not talking about reupdating the firmware) Just import that file again Then open traktor after closing the utility Remember you DELETED the TSI mapping? Now import it twice again just like originally done. This doesnt sound like yuo have a firmware issue, it sounds like a traktor + windows issue |
Genevive Pervis 31.12.2012 | a.vci-400ege b. windows computer c/d. directly to the computer e. flashflooder mapping f. no other controllers |

(plug in wall or just usb to computer only) E) What mapping are you trying to use? (link) F) What OTHER controllers / midi devices do you have connected? Details my man. its all in the details |
