VCI-100 Headphone Cueing configuration HELP?
Posted on: 15.05.2011 by Pauletta Malle
Hi there,

I have purchased the VCI-100 and currently have the Griffin iMic as an external soundcard. I am also running Traktor Pro software on a MacBook Pro.

I'm quite new when it comes to DJing/Sound etc, and I'm having trouble getting the headphone cueing to work properly.

I would like to know how to configure my soundcard/where to plug my headphones and speakers in and how to configure Traktor, so i'm able to play tracks through my speakers whilst cueing the next track in the headphones.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Thank you very much for your reply. But i'm afraid I don't totally understand since im totally new at this. Do you believe you could dumb it down a little?

When you open preferences select audio setup and select the iMic as the sound card. Then you'll need to set one channel on preferences to monitor and one to main. Ater you do this you be able to mix the main and monitor with the cue knob on the VCI. All the way to te left and it's all whatever dek you have selected as cue. All the way to the right is all whatever is coming out of the main.
