MF utility not detecting MIDI FIGHTER CLASSIC

i plugged in my MF and it lit up, then downloaded the utility and it didnt detect the MF, i unplugged and plugged it back in from both the port on the unit and in my computer, then tried a new USB. what do i do?

Did you try holding down the 4 corner buttons to prove if it will go in to boot mode without using the MF 2.1 Utility? If it does then you should be able to connect.
