Cheers I got it working out of the S2 headphone output but I believe I need an adapter to plug in my speakers so I can use the 1/2 outputs out of the back

Thanks for the help

Check that the hardware's master knob isn't all the way down. It defaults to outputs 1/2 so you should get sound out of the back. If you want to use the headphones jack then open Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup, Window/Show Audio Window, select your S2, click on Configure Speakers and set it to 3/4.

Open system preferences, click on sound, click on output, then select your desired sound card
