Edit found it with a simple youtube vid, anyone suggest a good wav > mp3 converter for mac? freeware or paid, thanks.

I use Amadeus ($) or AudialHub (discontinued). These free programs seem to have good reviews on macupdate...

Nothing wrong with the iTunes MP3 transcoder, or the compressor if you dig deep inside what iTunes is using. LAME is a little, little bit better but little means so little.

I use Audacity with the LAME encoder.
