S4 Traktor V2.6 and using Jog for FX !?
Posted on: 30.01.2013 by Tammy Tramposch
Hello,

I would like to use the Jog for controlling the FX using the new "override factory map".
But am unable to stop bending the playing track, while I turn the Jog to control the knobs of the FX.
Any ideas how to disabled the bend function?
"override factory map" doesn't seem to work

There you go, select FX for the Job mode and you should be good to go. Don't forget you need to press the load button for that deck to put it in the FX mode each time. Only works for Decks A and B too.

There is an extra function for just that in the S4 preferences. I don't have Traktor open to give you specific instructions, but look deeper in the S4 sections in the preferences. You should see it and it is pretty clear how to change the setting to get the FX jogs working. You will, however, have to do some mapping to get the Jogs to adjust the effects properly as you would like them. I am actually planning to add the new macro effects into my mapping soon. Click on the link in my sig to see my mapping.
