I copied this from my post on the NI fourms http://www.native-instruments.com/fo...d.php?t=196609

they dont seem to want to help iam wondering if anyone has had the same problems here and if they have please post a fix, talk about your issues ect .

Okay so last evening I did some extensive Testing what i found using the Traktor S4 and CDJs, Tech 12s they all did the same thing massive drops in timecode signal which u either has to change the latency on the fly or restart traktor.

How this happens ,well i noticed while looking at the timecode signal and changing the pitch on both the CDJ's and Tech 12s u can clearly see the timecode signal try to go wonky its not like when your just playing it.Has to do with changing the pitch so what i did was move the pitch up slightly and lower slightly to recreate the problem.

I was able to do within 5mins off trying i have tride every latency setting there is all the way down to the lowest and the highest.

my current system is

Macbook Pro 2.53 hz 8gb Ram mid 2009 Macbook pro running the latest version of Mountain Lion

Traktor S4
Kontrol F1
2 CDJ 800 Mk2
Traktor pro 2.61 latest - tested
Traktor pro 2.61 beta -tested

Hope u guys can narrow down the problem and get traktor back to stable

* Update i just recreated it again using the effects what i did was use two effects at one time wormhole and flangers both on different sides of the S4 its drop out was instant.

this is also a fourm with many users having the same issues that its tied too http://www.native-instruments.com/fo...d.php?t=181218

Note* this has been happening since version 2.5.1 .

I fixed it yay

Okay so here it goes, everyone that is using after-market ram ex PNY, Kingston, and other brands in there MacBook or MacBook pro the OSX operating system does not like it and causes dropouts.

In the last year I have tried everything to stop this from happening and finally today I decided to take out my new 8GB of PNY " Apple ram " so it said on the packaging but not true or it was before mountain lion which came right after traktor 2.51 when all these issues started happening. I ended up putting my 4gb ram that came with my 2009 MacBook pro and tested traktor for 8hrs today nonstop it was rock solid my mixing wasn't for the first bit cause I was worried about playing on my CDJ'S that I haven’t touched in a month because of this problem. Well I can finally say I have a peace of mind for the first time in 1yr playing with traktor

here are a few links on the community s that have this issue i encourage everyone having these issues to try using there old ram they got with there MacBook pro.

http://www.native-instruments.com/fo...d.php?t=181218 - the traktor starts to go crazy thread.

http://www.native-instruments.com/fo...d.php?t=196609 my extensive testing thread in the beta.

this might not be a fix for everyone but it fixed everything for me and many others that i know so i hope this helps u all

ya should take a screenshot or video of the calibration window when this occurs. Does it only do it with traktor vinyl (you can use the pitch reset hack to test with serato vinyl).
