I have a macbook pro 15'' and I need to connect 3 usb to the mac.
Many times I see PVD and Hawtin using USB hub attach to the Mac
Can you tell me what are?Or what do you use? I'm looking for non-powered USB hub.

Some picture of PvD hub:

nice looking hub ... I'm looking for a couple of new ones to build into my mobile hardware rig. Will DJTT be stocking them?

.... also would be good if DJTT stocked these too:
http://www.usbgear.com/computer_cabl...=102&catid=102
... handy for preventing undue stress on NI hardware's USB ports (X1/Maschine/S4) and neat when racking things in tight fitting cases ....

I'd prefer to spend my $s at DJTT

Just saw this USB Hub from Crane, while looking at some junk mails in my mailbox.

Reminded me immediately of this thread and the USB Hub PvD was using.

Sure looks the same!

That looks like a sweet hub, the way it clips on to the Macbook - no one know what it is?

Never mind, camera angles were fooling me. It is indeed a VMC-600.

They use Powered USB Hubs as the laptop is not able to supply the power needed to power the devices hanging off the laptop.
