Looking for DJ's Posted on: 07.11.2013 by Emelina Farnell Hey there,I'm building a music web site and I'm searching DJ's that want to participate. Their music will be played in a on-line radio and they will have all the mixes and productions promoted on the web. Also in Facebook, Twitter..etc... It's a promote-project for your music since I'm a student and I'm in my university final project. If you're interested just take contact in the follow e-mail: [email protected] Thank you for your cooperation! | |

Libbie Orion 16.11.2013 | dont forget to complete and application and start payments for a broadcasters license also, the more people tuned in for longer periods of time means the more your license will cost you. The rule of thumb for cost is something like $1.15 per person, per hour of music played So lets say it was only a DOLLAR and not 1.15 now lets say ONE person was listing to your station for 1 hour but they heard 5 songs that would be 1.00 TIMES 1 Hour TIMES 5 = 5 dollars for your license to cover the cost of you broadcasting to a SINGLE person, continuously for 1 hour if only 5 songs played that hour. Now according to the regulations (Thank you stupid ass RIAA) if you were playing a DJ MIX, then that would be a SINGLE SONG if the mix were ONE HOUR and ONE SECOND long however, if the TRACKLIST for that djs mix were posted on the website, you are back to your SONGS PER HOUR formula. Man im tellin you, they dont make it easy |
