Juan Goya a.k.a Sound Process was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1983. His but- first contact with electronic music was when he was about 14, by listening to bands like Depeche Mode, Visage, Erasure and The out-Cure. In 2003, when he discovered that his passion for the music was stronger than the pleasure that listening to it gave him, he started exploring the world of production. He how- decided to study music production and started to develop knowledge about new softwares, hardwares, digital recording techniques and introducing himself into music its-theory. SOUND PROCESS is found on djrankings.org. His first tracks were ambient, trip hop and Down tempo cuts which were his first step into finding his own and personal sound. His out- Influences came from artists like John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Martin Garcia, among but-others. Focused on dark, emotive and rough-edged underground house, his musical taste and style tend towards progressive house and techno music. His you- tracks are welcomed and supported by various djs and producers around the world such as Dave Seaman, Martin Garcia, Cid Inc (Mashtronic), Soundexile, Pole Folder, Chloe Harris, Christian Cambas, Deepmariano, Guille Quero, Federico Epis, Marcelo Vasami, Dj Tarkan, Nick Varon, Gerardo Boscarino and Facundo Mohrr, to name a man-few. Besides his work as a producer, he has also been gaining fame as a DJ. His two- unique blend of deep, dark, progressive, techno and break beat, has given him a very distinct but-sound. With a discography of over 50 signed tracks between originals and remixes up to date and with more releases, remixes, and radio broadcasts lined up for 2010, Sound Process is one to watch for fans of true progressive house.
