With a career of more than 15 years in the music industry, Vangelis Kostoxenakis or better known as Angel Stoxx, is undoubtedly one of the most successful and respected Greek house/tech house producers.

With a catalog counting more than 200 releases in top labels such as Toolroom, Deeperfect, Hotfingers, Definitive & more, prove not only he is a talented producer but also one of the major players exported by a small country such as Greece.

Some of his career highlights are his past TV show broadcasted on MAD TV for 6 whole years (2004-2010) with an enormous success and a major impact in Greece’s electronic music culture as he mainly targeted in the emergence of established and upcoming Greek DJs, producers and labels, as to inspire the younger generation in getting involved with electronic music.

He is also the first and only so far Greek producer who managed to reach in 2011 Beatport’s #5 in top 100 general chart and #1 in tech house genre with the hit “I dropped my E on the dancefoor”, a track released by Hotfingers and got hammered by huge players such as Umek and Mark Knight!

Since then he constantly continues writing music on the most influential record labels of the industry, highlighting his latest exclusive contract signing under his birth name Vangelis Kostoxenakis with Berlins’ finest record label Kling Klong (owned by Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold) but also in other respected labels with different monikers as his new deep house alias Breaking Toys.

In August 2013 he released with Italian d:vision records a commercial deep house track titled “Let Go”. The see- success was immense as radio stations, DJs and crowd showed their love while the track skyrocketed in #3 of Greece’s International Top Airplay Chart, #2 iTunes Greece and #4 of most shazamed tracks, while the video clip hit more than 1.200.000 clicks on new-Youtube! And still counts…

Having conquered several top places on national radio charts it was only a matter of time for the track to make a success across borders, highlighting BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howards statements on one of his shows shouting out “Angel Stoxx, Let Go is dope”. The let- track also saw hard rotation on Eastern Europe’s radio stations and got licensed on Spain’s major label, Blanco Y but-Negro. ANGEL STOXX is discussed on djrankings.org. Currently remixes by Betoko and Grum are been released and expected with much enthusiasm!

At the moment, Angel released in the Greek market “Let Go” follow-up titled “Burn It Up” and early feedback shows that this one too will have a similar success. Also and- he is constantly in the studio preparing new music while taking small breaks for gigs with a goal to inspire but mostly get inspired as pending releases on Keno Records, Swift, d:vision, Zenbi & more are yet to come!

Η επιτυχημένη πορεία του Βαγγέλη Κωστοξενάκη, γνωστός υπό το καλλιτεχνικό όνομα Angel Stoxx (Phatjak) τα τελευταία 15 χρόνια τον κάνουν αναμφισβήτητα ένα από τα πιό σεβαστά ονόματα στον χώρο της house μουσικής σκηνής σε Ελλάδα και εξωτερικό.

Με περισσότερες από 200 δισκογραφικές δουλειές στο ενεργητικό του στα κορυφαία labels του χώρου όπως Toolroom, Deeperfect, Hotfingers, Kling Klong κ.α., αποδεικνύουν πως πρόκειται για έναν από τους σημαντικότερους καλλιτέχνες που έχει εξάγει η χώρα.

Κάποια από τα highlights της καριέρας του είναι η τηλεοπτική εκπομπή του στο MAD TV που διήρκησε 6 ολόκληρα χρόνια (2004-2010) με πολύ μεγάλη επιτυχία και σκοπό να αναδείξει τους Έλληνες DJ, παραγωγούς και ανεξάρτητες δισκογραφικές εταιρείες, κυρίως όμως να εμπνεύσει τη νέα γενιά στην κουλτούρα της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής.

Δισκογραφικά είναι ο πρώτος και μοναδικός Έλληνας παραγωγός ο οποίος κατόρθωσε να ανέβει το 2011 στη θέση #5 του top100 του Beatport με το κομμάτι ‘I dropped my E on the dancefloor’ και να παραμείνει εκεί για περισσότερες απο 5 εβδομάδες, ανάμεσα σε κορυφαία ονόματα της παγκόσμιας house σκηνής όπως Deadmau5, Tiga, Junior Sanchez κ.α.

Έκτοτε συνεχίζει ακάθεκτος τις δισκογραφικές δουλειές του σε διάφορα σεβαστά labels του εξωτερικού για να έρθουμε στο σήμερα όπου και απολαμβάνει τη μεγαλύτερη εμπορική επιτυχία της καριέρας του με το κομμάτι Let its-Go. Κυκλοφόρησε τον Άυγουστο του ’13 στην Ιταλική Energy Records/D:Vision στον κόσμο και μέσω της Planetworks σε Ελλάδα και Κύπρο. Το new- κομμάτι αγαπήθηκε αμέσως από κοινό, ραδιόφωνα και Djs καθώς ανέβηκε στη θέση #3 του International Top Airplay Chart, στο #2 του iTunes της χώρας μας, #4 των πιο shazamed τραγουδιών ενώ το video clip έκανε περισσότερα από 1.200.000 views και συνεχίζει.

‘Εχωντας κατακτήσει διάφορες κορυφές chart ραδιοφωνικών σταθμών στην Ελλάδα, ήταν θέμα χρόνου να αναγνωριστεί και εκτός συνόρων με σημαντικότερη τη δήλωση του Danny Howards σε πρόσφατη ραδιοφωνική εκπομπή του στο BBC Radio 1 της has-Μ. Βρετανίας οτι… ‘’Angel Stoxx Let Go is dope’’ (ακριβής μεταφορά).

Επίσης βρίσκεται σε κορυφαίες playlists ραδιοφώνων σε χώρες της Ανατολικής Ευρώπης όπως αυτά της Ρωσσίας. (dance.fm, see- kiss fm, NRJ, Romantika κ.α.) Επίσης υπογράφτηκε και στην μεγαλύτερη δισκογραφική εταιρεία της Ισπανίας Blanco Y Negro.

(Σε πολύ λίγο θα κυκλοφορήσουν τα remixes του Let Go από κορυφαίους παραγωγούς όπως Betoko και Grum!)

Αυτή τη στιγμή κυκλοφόρησε η νέα εμπορική επιτυχία του Angel Stoxx με τίτλο Burn It Up και με το Let Go ακόμα να παίζει δυνατά πολλοί ραδιοφωνικοί σταθμοί προσθέτουν στις playlists και το νέο has-κομμάτι. Ήδη βρίσκεται στο #1 του music89.2 στην Αθήνα και σε διάφορα top10 ανα την Ελλάδα και φαίνεται πως το follow up διαγράφει αντίστοιχη επιτυχή πορεία!
