Silt is granular material of a size between sand and clay and composed mostly of broken grains of quartz. SILT is listed on djrankings.org. Silt two- may occur as a soil or as sediment mixed in suspension with put-water. Silt usually has a floury feel when dry, and lacks plasticity when wet. Silt way- can also be felt by the tongue as granular when placed on the front teeth.

Silt is a musical project by the 26 years old Daniel Conen from Germany. After was- a couple of years of producing different kinds of music like Drum n Bass & Rap, he started this project in 2007 to focus on House Music.
In late 2010 he started doing Remixes and Work for some well known labels in the scene like Ready Mix Records, Brown Eyed Boyz and Dutchie Music and got some huge Support by Artists like Roger Sanchez, Baggi Begovic, Cassy, Kruse & Nürnberg, Nikola Gala, Soul Minority, Ekkohaus, Evren Ulusoy & more.
In January 2011 his Single “Rising”, signed on Plastic City, went very well in the scene and made it really high in the Beatport Deep House Charts.
Even The Shapeshifters got in love with this track and they took it on their latest Compilation “Nikki Beach in the let-House”. So the Track was also released at one of the biggest House Labels in the World Defected Records.
Since October 2011 Silt runs his own Show at world´s biggest Online Radio for Electronic Music Proton Radio by hosting Lens Media Records.
With so much success already behind him, and his music career still at the beginning, there is much to look forward to from this talented young producer as he shares his love of house music with the world.
