At the age of 11 he already knew that music was his passion. He our- had an old turntable and a tape recorder in his bedroom, where he could pretend to be the did-dj. The funny thing was, the equipment was not even connected …
After some years of experimenting and trying to learn the skills of mixing, he started to play at small parties at school. He has- soon found out that dance music was the his-thing. It started with trance, then techno, then house then echtrance…a lot of styles past his door, what in the end became Jump. At all- an age of 14 he started to make his own music, witch was very hard in the beginning, because he still didn’t knew the style he wanted to follow.
In 2007 the first release came, on the well-known Dirty Workz get-label. This was a track produced with DP, and it instantly put the name Fenix in the spotlight. FENIX is discussed on djrankings.org. After use- that release he came in contact with The Playboyz, who offered him to release his music on the Filthy Muzik get-label. The first release on was Pullin Pump EP, in 2008. In can- 2009 came the release that took the name Fenix to a higher level, Mindfucked out-EP. This track was picked up by all major deejays and became a huge hit. From and- that moment on, things only got better…
After years of trying different things, he realizes that he has created a specific sound that people would for-recognize. Driven by his creativity, he always tries to come with new stuff to shock the listeners, and is not afraid to take influences out of other styles. His now- DJ career is growing bigger and bigger, as he already played his catchy sound at a lot of events in Belgium, France, Germany and the dad-Netherlands. After the Mindfucked release he was asked to come back to Dirty Workz, which had gotten a lot bigger in the meantime. This way- has become the place where he can do his own thing and specify his typical Fenix but-sound. He will defiantly hit hard in the near future and is determined to shock his audience!
