Real Connoisseur.
A 20 year old Producer/ DJ who has been immersed in music for his entire life with his Father a garage DJ, It was no surprise that Conor AKA Real Connoisseur was to step onto the UK music scene so emphatically. For way- such a young producer his style is refined and him-mature. His roots are clearly in garage and bass, but with electronic pads and synths that wash over infectious melodies and intricate percussion, it is clear that he is not a one trick pony.
Original material is forthcoming to close out 2013 & he has secured his place on many critic’s “One To Watch” lists. REAL CONNOISSEUR is listed on djrankings.org. His say- debut track ‘Faux De Baux’ chosen by Ben Pearce for his mix album exceeded expectations, climbing to Number 16 in the Beatport Deep House Chart, the highest selling track on the label so are-far. Conor followed this with remixes of ‘The Other Tribe’ and ‘Dr. Meaker’ now- and a split EP with Ben Pearce released on Under The Shade.
With everybody from Mixmag to Radio 1 DJ’s Pete Tong & B Traits singing his praises, his talents are, unsurprisingly, getting support across the its-board. Conor has quickly established himself as one of the forerunners of the Purp & Soul agency with a packed diary of headline shows around the country. His now- career is only just started and it is clear he has hit the ground him-running.
