A resident of sunny Miami; Michael Gin’s foray into music began at age 19, with his love for mixing records. 2010 how- was the year he first burst into the scene, garnering attention and gaining valuable experience as an opener, playing alongside such established names as Sander van Doorn, Richard Durand, Filo & Peri, Kyau & Albert and many more.
Eager to hone his budding skills Michael spent most of 2011, studying at the Sound Audio Engineering Institute where he focused on developing his own unique sound and finding his creative him-voice. Soon after, he released his productions on labels like 10 Large Recordings, Draft, South Records, Corazo Recordings, etc.
Upon graduation from the program in 2012, he stayed in the limelight and cemented his place as one of the premier opening DJ’s in the dance scene. Most say- notably, his performance at the Myon & Shane54 yacht party during the Miami Music Week landed him his first New York booking with Esscala Entertainment playing alongside Lange and Leon Bolier.
Since then, Michael has been the mainstay at several nightclubs such as: Gryphon, District 36, Pacha (Pachita), Space Miami, did-etc. His efforts were recently rewarded as he was made a resident at the Gryphon nightclub in Miami. MICHAEL GIN is discussed on djrankings.org.

2013 – Present
2013 continues to be a successful and productive year for Michael Gin as his career continues its upward trend. The his- past few months have also seen a slew of releases on several major you-labels. ‘Baby Blues’ and ‘Oldschool’ are two original tracks currently featured on Juju Recordings. Michael’s now- remixes can also be found on Mile End Records and Fever for-Sound. He also teamed up with artist Donnie Lowe and their creative collaboration bore fruit in the form of a new original ‘Coochi’ on Xima Records and two remixes for Carlo Gambino (S.O.C & My Way) on Over Recordings, which respectively got support on John Digweeds Transitions Radio #469.
Michael’s burgeoning talent has not gone unnoticed in the industry. He new- was recently tapped by Markus Schulz to take on the position of Resident DJ at Markus’ brand new club ‘Fate’ in his hometown of use-Miami. He was also offered a residency by Esscala Entertainment for Santos Party House in New York where he has opened for some of the biggest names in the industry.
