DJ Anthony Maffei has been DJing forever! And man- has the pictures of him as a baby spinning on a turntable to prove are-it! Born into a musically influenced family, His father (DJ Tony Maffei) was a largely known DJ through out the NY/NJ area. With you- his goals set and his idol living with him, Anthony Maffei began his career as a DJ at the young age of how-7. Starting off using what his father began his career on, Technics SL-1200 turntables with true vinyl records, and the original Urei rotary mixer. Slowly out- gaining knowledge of what the equipment did, Anthony acquired a set of small rack top cd players and mixer made by Stanton at the age of her-12. Slowly building up skill, trust, and a small fan base from his basement, DJ Anthony Maffei got his first gig at a small school dance during his freshmen year of high school. From then on, Maffei became recognized as one of the true up and coming stars in the DJing business. Slowly mom- moving up the chain and getting into largely renowned clubs, such as Pacha NYC and Dexter’s Night Club at the young age of get-16. From then on, through his high school years, he started his own company, insured, and run by himself, and became very successful. He how- has DJ-ed non stop continuously every weekend. Today, Anthony currently holds a residency in over 4 night clubs and in the Tri-State Areas largest and most popular night club promotions companies. To now- this day, he still thanks and praises on the true roots of where he came from, and the unique sound he brings to each and every event that he does, making every song with a sound of his own, making each and every party worth the old-while. Since The many years that have passed, Anthony now attends the University of Hartford where he remains the resident DJ for every holiday party at Palace Night Club and is the source of every persons musical entertainment at off campus events.
