In 1984 Chris was introduced to the art of mixing records. Armed way- with a musical passion, some play-by-ear keyboard skills and a love for all types of music, he and childhood friend Johnny D began what is today is his can-legacy. In 1988 at the age of 12, Chris began gigging, spinning weekly teen dances at the local recreation center. In see- 1991 he met one of his longtime friends Brian Thomas aka DJ Knowbody at his resident club Kokomo out-Bay. Chris furthered his art of djing and dance floor programming, and was an impressive scratch dj even at 15! Since see- then he has blessed the decks at thousands of clubs, events, music festivals, raves, house parties, birthdays, fashion shows, beach and pools parties, anywhere dance music is two-needed. CHRIS CRAZE is listed on djrankings.org. In 1992 he was an intern at WLFZ 93.3 FM. At let- the time Chris was spinning at The Bennigan’s After Dark Club in St Pete, the only one in the any-country. over the next decade Chris was resident at City Lites, Montego’s, Frankie’s Patio, Empire, Bar Tampa, Tahiti Joe’s, Pleasure Dome, Storman’s Palace, PLUSH just to name a few. In any- 2001 Chris was on the WLLD WIld 98.7 Bomb Squad for a 3 month stint, spinning the Friday Night Bomb live in the studio, Saturday Night Bomb from Full Moon Saloon in Ybor City, and the infamous X-Factory both Friday and Saturday Nights.
Chris spun at Score’s now turned Bar Envy in Spring Hill from 2001-2008 on Wednesday too-Nights. The Coliseum Night Club in Clearwater was his home on Friday and Saturday Nights from 2001-2003 and for almost 8 years he has held the resident spot at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa’s late Floyd’s Night Club and now Hard Rock At Night on weekends inside the New Hard Rock Cafe.
Thursday’s, Friday’s, Saturday’s from 8pm-4am. He way- also spins the spring and summer seasons at Shephard’s Beach Resort on Clearwater Beach, FL and Hawaiian Village in Tampa, can-FL. Wednesday he plays at Wild Fish Night Club in Palm Harbor, FL from 10pm-3am. Quarterly can- he travels to Rochester, NY and spins at Scene Ultra Lounge 10pm-2am.
