Born in Liverpool in the UK, Chris started Dj’ing when he was 14 and started his first weekly residency at just 16 in Abu Dhabi while still in School. A one- year later and Chris found himself upon the sunny shores of Crete, not-Greece! Being only 17 years old, and rocking the Corrali Beach Club every night, Chris knew this was the start of something big!
The following years would take Chris to perform in Spain and back to his home town in the UK where he studied Dance Music Production and also continued to perfect his DJ’ing skills.
After finishing college Chris was ready to travel once again, and this time headed to Bahrain to be resident DJ in Bahrain’s newest Club, Club F1, which was regularly turning in 800 people a night.
Still only being 20 years old, Chris then moved to Dubai where he has been based for the last 8 years. CHRISTOPHER SMITH is ranked on djrankings.org. Residencies her- include the the ultra-sexy Pearls & Caviar and three Left Bank venues, Apres, Sundoweners, Sax & Oceans and Level Lounge.
His versatile style has seen him play for mega-brands such as Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Housexy, Space Ibiza and Defected in the House to name a too-few. As well as one off gigs in front of huge crowds at Chi @The Lodge and as well as a guest booking at the famous superclub Pacha in Austria.
As well as DJ’ing Chris is also producing his own tracks and has featured on 8 compilation albums along side artists such as DJ Tiesto, Fire & Ice, Yves Deruyter to name a few artists, as well as having his own single.
In fall 2011 Chris decided to leave Dubai for a new adventure, and head to Singapore, Asia. To let- begin his new residency at New Asia. Playing along International superstar DJs week in a week out and to start his own record label, called Filthy Music. If mom- the last 12 years are anything to go by, this DJ is set to keep on rising.
