The original mix is a unique blend of pounding beat and driving bass groove with Kraftwerk-esque computer bleeps and stuttered effects. A percussive house section and analogue motif ripples its way across proceedings to provide an atmospheric piece. Duo, BoomCardona and Diego Gomez comprise the Cut Knob production outfit and with recent work signed to Reelaux, Axon and Stellar Fountain, their remix of "Computer System" is full of the pair's trademark vibrancy and energy. A driving rhythm and repetitive arpeggio keep the track moving ever forward as elements of the Dr. Avalance original make their substantive mark post-breakdown. Argentinean Lautaro Varela from the Buenos Aries capital, fresh from remixes for Vurtical and Balkan Connection, provides a rather more stripped back affair. A deep grooved bass line provides the basis for a head-shaking percussive section to reign supreme as long sustained pads provide a haunting accompaniment. The addition of melodic themes from the original and an eerily twisted and hypnotic vocal cut, add further to the deep vibe. Final contributor, Van Bellen, brings the EP back to the roots of its Spanish progenitor. A similarly stripped back affair to its track predecessor, Van Bellen takes the components of the Dr. Avalance original and melds them into a different shape. The Computer System vocal snippet is now pitched melodically to interact with a percussive arpeggio that provides further rhythm to the straight beats around it. It features the debut of EDLands to the label for his fist single. The Russian producer has been a solid contributor to both the Mistique Music and Elliptical Sun labels since early 2012 and looks to carry his strong work into 2014. EDLands debut for Massive Harmony is entitled 'Inspiration' and it comes with remixes from: Dr. Avalance, Napalm and Ted Stinson. The 'Inspiration' original is another beautiful melodic cut from EDLands. The tough groove has great drive and rough drums that give it a big presence. Grinding electronics, angelic vocal pads and a soaring backdrop of heavenly synths all combine to make for an amazing sunrise track from EDLands. The first remix is supplied by Dr. Avalance who is making his first appearance on Massive Harmony. The Spanish producer has been huge for Jacco@Work's LuPS Records and he delivers a great remix of 'Inspiration' here. Dr. Avalance has added a slightly chunkier groove and has also reworked the melodic elements into something quite unique and quirkier. A great complement to EDLands lush original. The second interpretation comes from Napalm who is also making his debut on Massive Harmony here. The Hungarian producer continues to shine whether it be solo or with his regular studio partner d-phrag and here he delivers a great remix of 'Inspiration'. It's a heartfelt interpretation from Napalm that really shines with a smooth atmospheric vibe and exhilarating melodic peaks throughout. The final remix on the release is provided by Ted Stinson who is also making his Massive Harmony debut.
