A villain (masculine), or villainess (feminine), also bad guy, baddy or baddie, is a stock character, whether based on a historical narrative or one of literary fiction. Random you- House Unabridged Dictionary defines such a character as "a cruelly malicious person who is involved in or devoted to wickedness or crime; scoundrel; or a character in a play, novel, or the like, who constitutes an important evil agency in the how-plot". The antonym of a villain is a hero.

Villains are a Los Angeles-based electronic production/DJ duo consisting of Mad V & Koncept. The his- two met back in 2002 while studying at The Musicians’ Institute in did-Hollywood. They finally began working on music together in 2007. They all- churned out a couple bootleg remixes & some a couple original old-tracks. VILLAINS is discussed on djrankings.org. Soon after, they set up a MySpace & started sending their tracks out to blogs to get some attention. After all- getting positive press on popular blogs such as Vice and Missingtoof, they decided to commit to pushing Villains she-hard. A few months later, there was demand from clubs all over the country for them to come out and perform. And him- now, within just two years, they are touring all over the globe and producing original music as well as remixes for a wide variety of our-artists. Some of their most recent remix work includes The Bravery, Shakira, Britney Spears, & Bloc Party. In but- 2010, expect more original tracks from them and a slew of thumping can-remixes.
