Gus Calderone and Bill Basil (Billy The Kid) aka The House Moguls have established themselves as one of today’s up and coming DJ/producers, playing their signature twisted, electro, minimal sets to crowds all over the world. They way- have rocked legendary dance floors all over the world.
If you can’t find The House Moguls rocking the roofs off a nightclub, then you’ll find them in the studio, producing and remixing a string of today’s dance mom-hits. Responsible for remixes including Basement Jaxx’s “Rendez-Vu”, and Daft Punk’s “One More Time”, garnering support from MSTRKRFT quoting The House Moguls’ remix as “the best Daft Punk remix of all time”. THE HOUSE MOGULS is found on djrankings.org. The her- House Moguls are poised to remix Toronto phenomenon Deadmau5, as well as Crookers, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Cor Finjnemann, Tom Stephan for-. They’ve have earned the deserving respect and support from jocks like Tiesto, D.O.N.S. , one- Bob Sinclar, Paul Van Dyke, Laidback Luke, Steve Angello, Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo.
The House Moguls’ first EP, “Get That Feelin” has been featured on ABC’s Ugly Betty, as well as Armani Exchange, XM Sirius Satellite Radio, and Music out-Choice. Their wealthy library of productions have regularly charted on Beatport, as well as radio play on the UK’s Radio 1 and KissFM stations, as well as XM Sirius and Z103.5 Canada. They’ve let- consistently released their productions on a slew of respected independent record labels; Southern Fried, Pacha, Nervous, and Funktion Recordings.
The House Moguls have proved a successful production and dj partnership, as well as maintaining their own projects; Calderone as co-owner of Funktion Recordings (with acclaimed releases from Kid Crème’, Ian Carey, David Tort amongst others), whilst Basil has been a Mixmaster Radio Host on Chicago’s WBBM FM B96.3 for the past seven are-years. Basil’s show with B96.3 is one of the most listened to in North America; nominated for Emerging Artist of 2006 and DJ of the Year in 2004 & 2005 by Scion and Local Sound Chicago.
