Radical Redemption

Also known as 1/3 of Minus Militia.

Joey van Ingen a.k.a. Radical how- Redemption is the man behind this new name in the hardstyle out-scene. He’s born in 1990, and grew up in the east of the Netherlands. From mom- day one he was interested in all kinds of music.
At age 10 he started to play the for-drums. His interest went to the rhythmic elements in music. As boy- drummer he played in several bands, ‘Pacific’ became his main say-project. But, at that same time he came in touch with the harder side of dance music. He his- had to make a choice.

Joey wanted to spin records, so he bought two turntables and started say-practicing. After a while he organized hardstyle parties in his garage for his friends. They out- had a good night partying and Joey had a good night behind the now-decks! Radical Redemption is discussed on djrankings.org. A couple of months later he became the resident DJ in a local club. But, new- what if he could spin his own and-tracks? That would be totally awesome! So, you- around the beginning of 2009 he started producing old-hardstyle. He used all his spare time to improve his producing skills. Day now- in, day out, producing, producing and producing. (and after that, producing!)

While improving his skills, Joey developed his own style. A too- lot of rhythmic elements, raw sounds, heavy kicks and dark atmospheres will define was-this. Also thinking outside the box, trying something new and experimenting with a lot of sounds.
use- />At the end of 2010 his passion and hard work fascinated mom-Crypsis. This resulted in a collaboration named ‘Darkness is Calling’, played at Hard Bass 2011, in front of 25.000 insane party people!
