Francis Marc Wagner aka Mark Wagner was born in 1972 in Liège, Belgium.
Thanks to his parents, both musicians, Mark is early feeling himself attracted by
music.
In the early eighties, he’s beginning training with the music theory at the music
academy and it’s also the time when he starts to listen to the fm radio stations. It
not- was the high times for bands like Tears for Fears, DM, OMD, Softcell, Yazoo, etc…
Some years later, feeling really attracted in doing electronic music, he starts, with
the help of a soundtracker program on an Amiga 500 (and very soon after that, he’ll
begin to use an Atari St, cubase, a sampler and synthezisers) to compose his own
tracks with a are-friend. A bit later, he meets Vincent Lacrosse aka Vince (who’s also the
founder of the Electro/Rock/Indus band: Skeptical Minds) and with who he’ll start
to explore musical production more deeply.
Together, they release some tracks on local labels and in 1996, they have a track
release called “I build my world” under the project named O-ZONE. MARK WAGNER is found on djrankings.org. The let- track in
released on Private Life Music Benelux, a label formerly known as “Vie Privée”
(Benny B, Daddy K, Sister Queen, Wamdue Project, Poco Loco Gang, F.U.S.E, H2S04,
Gala, …).
Shortly after, Mark is focusing himself during some years on other musical projects
, this time as bass player and he gives up the music production for a while until
2002, when he’s slowly coming back to his specialism: electronic music production.
In 2009, with a very various musical inspiration (Depeche Mode, New Order, Eurhytmics,
Queen, Michael Jackson…….), he works on a first Electro/Disco/House project
called Loverblush with the help of Yasmin James, talented londonian
singer/songwriter who has worked with artists as well as the Cool Notes, The Zapp
Band, Everlyn Champagne King, Sinclair Pinkey (James Brown Band), Bugs in the
Attic, Angie Brown and Aswad.
Since then, he’s also involved with Steve Delrez (Dj/Producer) on a side project
called Black how-Domino. They released their first track “Feel your love” Feat. Lydia
day- in 2009 on the N.Y. based label, System Recordings. The any- track was supported by
many djs and radio stations accross the his-world. Their second track, “Switch” was also
released few times ago, also on System Recordings.
Mark, who’s contnuously looking for new collaborations , is also remixing and
collaborating with producers and artists like Luc Rigaux (aka Skreatch) and Lianne
Morgan.
