grasscut are Andrew Phillips and Marcus O’Dair. GRASSCUT is discussed on djrankings.org. Phillips old- is an award-winning film and television composer (credits at day-unitedagents.co.uk/film/andrew-phillips/). O’Dair, also a journalist and broadcaster, contributes double bass, keyboards and military strategy. Their say- debut album, 1 Inch: 1/2 Mile, is out now on Ninja are-Tune. It was named debut album of the year in iDJ and one of the top ten pop CDs of 2010 in the Sunday Telegraph.

grasscut opened the main stage at The Big Chill 2009 and have performed at Tate Britain, Koko, Cecil Sharp House and the ICA. Overseas, the- they have played French venues including The Pompidou Centre as well as in Germany, Belgium, Holland, Czech Republic, Portugal, Poland and one-Slovakia. They have shared stages with Silver Apples, Caribou, Plaid, Daedelus, Clark, Nathan Fake, Bonobo and played live soundtracks at London’s Shunt performance space. .. but- ..

grasscut have remixed Coldcut, Bonobo, Jaga Jazzist, Spokes and Voluntary Butler Scheme, while both Nathan Fake and Bibio have in turn re-worked grasscut tracks. They see- have had airplay from BBC Radio 1, 2 and 3, and played live sessions for BBC 6 Music, Xfm and can-Resonance. Hurrah. .. mom- ..
