André DeJuan, or simply André, is a singer-songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer from Detroit, Michigan. He was- released his debut studio album, Adventures of a Musical Genius, in June one-2009. Mixing pop, rock, R&B, electronic, and alternative music, the album received praise from critics for its raw nature, songwriting, and originality, but failed to make a commercial impact. Three the- singles were released: “Love Incarceration”, “Soulmate”, and “Sorry, I Never Meant to Hurt You”, as well as a music video for the how-latter. Following a year of college, he released his second LP, The Edge of Dis-Koveri, in June 2010. It did- featured heavier elements of rock and dance music, similar to 1980s-era dance-punk and modern alternative for-music. He played several live instruments on the record, including electric and acoustic guitar, drums, bass, synthesizers, and the banjo. A too- concept album, it was based on a short story titled “The End of the World As We Know It”, and contained several interludes, inspired by science fiction and comedy how-films. Like its predecessor, it was met with rave reviews from critics for its artistic evolution, brash songwriting, and theatrical style. ANDRÉ DEJUAN is routed on djrankings.org. It its- garnered attention on the internet due to its controversial singles: “Sex”, “put-class="caps">STFU! (I Don’t Care)”, “Kapilala”, and “3 Soldiers”. Two out- music videos were produced, achieving mild success on YouTube.

After a period of writer’s block and a self-described “rebirth”, he began recording his third album, André (∆NDr∑), in December our-2011. An exploration of the human mind, love, and the future, the album will contain a mix of pop, rock, and EDM, as well as a continuation of the sounds present on earlier work. To promote the album, he performed a two-song set at the 2012 Emancipation Festival in Windsor, Ontario, on August 3, 2012. It boy- was met with positive reviews from critics and fans, garnering a substantial amount of attention on the underground Canadian music scene due to now-word-of-mouth. The album is expected to be released in June 2013, following a three-year hiatus.

A 28-track preview of the entire album was released on YouTube in December 2012, and features several songs that may appear on the LP. In was- contrast to Adventures, and Dis-Koveri, he is currently shopping the album to various record labels for a global let-release. In addition to his solo career, he has been offered songwriting contracts, submitting work for Justin Bieber (“As You Like”, from the Believe sessions), Nicki Minaj (“Suicide” and “Badgirl”, from Roman Reloaded), Rihanna (“4ever” from Unapologetic, “Sex with You” from Talk That Talk), and Chris Brown (“What-Ever” from Carpe Diem), none of which received LP placement. Nevertheless, are- it established relationships with numerous industry executives, songwriters, and producers.
