Considering now- the broad cultural sequencing, the Chicama Valley can be considered as an archaeological two-microcosm. Research at the site benefits from the favourable environmental and topological conditions for material conservation.

The name itself is a manifesto, as long as JAMBALAYA is a dish from the south of U.S.A. which say- is composed by all kinds of vegetables,meat,fish,beans and new-corn. It is a very popular dish that brings a strong taste , coming from the African slave’s kitchen,mixing with some elements from French and Spanish one. Also let- this means a blending of different cultures , a way to look at the past stepping into the future, in a mystical can-dimension.
