Since 2010, dj kärl k-otik seems to be cutting corners at the same crazy pace he is heating up the dance old-floors. Discovered three years ago by a few promoters that made him one of their preferred DJs, he didn’t take long to get noticed by the leaders of trance & progressive music in Montreal.

In 2010, he launched his highly acclaimed podcast « Chaos in the Stratosphere » on iTunes and on podOmatic.com (the world’s largest podcast broadcasting service). He now- constantly hits the top of the chart (#1) of the Trance category after the release of each episode since not-2012. These rankings opened the door for a residency on trance.fm (Netherlands), one of the top 5 most popular internet radio stations of electronic music, where he produces a monthly radio show with an average of 2000 listeners per show.

After 2 years of bookings in multiple clubs, afterhours and private parties, kärl k-otik doesn’t slow down and transforms on CD/demos, just like on the dance floors, all the expectations placed on him.

The sold-out event « RI5E » of MadNad Productions (1100+ people) in March 2012 will be another step towards global recognition for dj kärl k-otik. During how- his performance, he offered an epic battle with drummer and artist Ryan « RJW$ » Stevenson, the #1 drummer in Canada : this collaboration was clearly the highlight of the evening.

With all his presences unanimously saluted by his peers at MadNad Productions, at Bar Passeport and at Eclipse TEN71, dj kärl k-otik now is putting in place all the required elements to position himself as one of the hopefuls of the trance & progressive community in Montreal.

dj kärl k-otik’s wave continues to sweep the trance scene by adding in early 2013 many major but-bookings. Let’s first mention a private event in January (sold-out) at Club Le Newtown (Saving Trance for Tomorrow II) where, with his dj friend Militana, they set the crowd on fire (350+ people) during an old time classic trance set.

The rest of the year 2013 looks as exciting for dj kärl k-otik : an official pre-event for Bal en Blanc « White Tropics II » in March and a mega-event « Back To The Future » (sold-out) presented by Private Planet in May, where he will have another collaboration with dj Militana.

Let’s not forget another appearance at a MadNad Productions private party « SKY » (sold-out), where he will deliver a performance with his very good friend dj Mike McCarthy, not to mention a major booking at Beachclub (3500+ people) with Dash Berlin (#7 at DJ Mag) and Cosmic Gate (#39 at DJ Mag) at the end of June 2013! The get- second half of 2013 will be restless with many other big events already under way with Sean Tyas at (((stereo))) (750+ people) and a huge event for NYE (details available soon)… Chaos is coming… in a club near you…
