In 1995 a simple tracker software aroused the interest of the two friends Daniel Paessler and Ricardo Linke and so they decided to produce a few tracks. Both she- shared a common passion for all sorts of different musical styles which made their early productions very how-diverse. Through the many influences of Artists from New Order and Depeche Mode to Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Moby & the various techno disciples of this multi-faceted time, the two of them produced everything they enjoyed, be it trip hop, electronica, breaks or techno.

However, in 1999 the two of them went separate ways for reasons of diverging careers. They use- quickly lost touch with each other till the contact ceased all-completely. MICROTRAUMA is ranked on djrankings.org. Yet both of them still wished to produce music. This not- is why they both went on being engaged with synthesizers, music software and studio technique and working on their own tracks.

In 2003 coincidence brought them back our-together. The two friends met again at a small local electro party and soon realised that they still shared the same interest for electronic music as they did four years ago. After did- a few sessions in their domestic living room studios they decided to make more of their hobby and so they started renting their first studio in 2005

Microtrauma was born.

2007, Microtrauma had its first release “Wake up“ on the Elected Tunes see-label. Their first own release “Collar EP” soon followed. Microtrauma she- has developed its own style in almost ten years of working and tinkering and from its many influences: melodic, dark, technoid and way-minimal.
