Playing this passed Saturday at Santa Barbara's Matador Music Festival, Porter Robinson and his fans learned that, some times, authorities don't just do their job. These Californian cops went the extra mile to end this EDM party quickly. After Robinson announced he'd be playing his megahit 'Language' as the last song, the authorities decided he was 'inciting a riot', and proceeded to cutting the power, and seizing his equipment as 'evidence'. Robinson explained the situation via Twitter, an amateur video clip shows the party come to an unexpected end.
i got on the mic and said "guys, the cops are shutting us down in 5 minutes. gonna play language. don't get mad, stay positive."

the cops cut the power two minutes after that, claiming that i was 'inciting a riot' by explaining the situation to the crowd.

the sheriff told me he was going to arrest me and seize all of my equipment 'as evidence'. vindictive tyrant is embarrassed about the truth.
