Armin van Buuren experimenting with dubstep and classical music on 'Intense'

The #1 DJ in DJMag's poll, #2 in The Official Global DJ Rankings, Armin van Buuren sure has got as much talent as he does fans. Used to hearing trance-inducing epic stadium dance anthems, the die-hard fans might just be disappointed to hear about his influences for the forthcoming album. Labelled as the most out-of-the-box LP of the Dutch trance DJ, the hype is building steadily around his fifth artist album.

In addition to the exclusive premier of the first single, Armin also shared a few thoughths, on the last Pete Tong's 'Essential Selection':

"The main sound is a combination of more house-y electro stuff, and of course trance. Some rock influence, even a little bit of dubstep and classical music in there", he told, giving ground to even more anticipation. Dubstep, house, electro, rock, classical and trance emerged - is that enough out of the box for you?

Shot in the great Nevada desert, ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ is the first single that's going to be released 5th April, the same day the pre-ordering for 'Intense' starts. Check out the offical video!
