Music suitable for a bash in a SPACE STATION: Oliver - Mechanical EP

Do you know that feeling when you think something is so good it's a 10 out of 10? Well this is it right here.. Oliver are members of the Fool's Gold familia, made up of some of the most tasteful and skilled producers around these days. The duo consists of U-Tern and Oligee. And they know their business. I mean, after Disclosure dropped 'White Noise' a few nights ago, I was robbed of critique. The same happened when I got my hands on this EP. Oliver's 'Mechanical' EP- ladies and gentlemen - is about as good as it gets!

Regardless of the figure of speech, Fool's Gold isn't a label that puts out cat gold. This is what you should hear when you could chill at a space station! Some words before every FULL-LENGTH track from the album!

1. 'Control' kicks off the EP, accordingly you're still able to maintain some control over yourself while you're starting to appreciate the quality of this production duo. A beautiful build-up in the middle of the track inserts hopeful feelings for the listening experience - no huge drop yet.

2. Move your body, move your body, move your body, move your body -  'MYB'  does exactly what the title suggests! So get up and crank it up. This isn't a track to listen quietly. If turned up just the right amount, you'll feel this one taking your whole body and moving it. The BASSLINE is just that good. While the vocal loop suggest energy directly into your subconcsious, the bassline grabs hold of you throgh a hand of soundwaves coming through your speakers. Expect this hand to shakes you up good. This one is for the dance-floors, stadium-crowds and festival-fields!

3. 'Nights Is On Your Mind' gives you your breath back.. Although the air you're breathing becomes dense from the gloomy vocals and slow electro beat thumping on and on. Superb track for those dark nights cruising around.

4.  The title-track of the EP puts the cherry on top of it! 'Mechanical' suggests nothing but the purest and most overwhelming feelings. Cinematic  visuals come to mind while enjoying a track that's deeply meaningful. The different layers of synth lines, the vocals leave you in awe and the EP is through too soon! Keywords: technology, space, robots and your way of life!
