Following DJs is what we do. So following deadmau5 is a part of our job, even if it means going through the x-ray scan in Mexico. Oh yeah, there's also hype about the new stage show, deadmau5 has in stall for us. And to top it all of, a new track!
The Ultra Music Festival is one of the biggest EDM festivals there is. Spanning over 2 weekends in March, it has got THE biggest names in the line-ups. Swedish House Mafia is doing their final performances. Basically, everybody from the top 10 of The Global DJ Rankings is doing either a DJ-set or a live performance.
deadmau5 bashed the festival in 2011, saying: "Ultra to me is the definition of insanity: Doing the same f*cking thing every year, expecting different results every time," he's quoted as saying. "It's fun and it's cool, and if you've never been, go. But if you are one of those dudes that go every year, it's like why would you go again?"
However, the Canadian-born producer came to the realization that if you want to change something, you have to do it yourself: "Well, I caved in... There was just too many of you guys asking me to play at ultra this year, so im doin it for you guys! :) viva la horde," and adding, "I guess if you want something to change... you gotta change it yourself. Day 1 of the Ultra show production prep starts today."
Will the new stage show concept be revealed at Ultra? The answer is: most probably. Outspoken and excited as ever, Zimmerman ranted about the stage show concept just recently: “A 100,000-watt visual mind-fuck on crack,” “It was tied perfectly to mind-blowing lights and a visual display like I’ve never seen before and all the while there was a bopping yellow mau5 head symmetrically centered in the booth.”

There isn't much info about the track Zimmerman finished, he only mentioned it in a tweet. He seems satisfied with the outcome, we'll just have to wait and see what he came up with!
Mixed another song, and I'm feeling rather accomplished right now

If you're a mau5 fan you probably know deadmau5 through and out? Well, if you're not his personal physician, you probably haven't gotten to see him on an x-ray scan. We'll help you get a more 'up-close' look, litterally, into the Canadian producer. Check out the footage from an airport in Mexico!
