Hi All,

Do you believe it is possible to use such turntable to mix? http://www.amazon.com/REGA-RP1-TURNT.../dp/B004B3GELG

I love their slick design...

Thanks,

J.

It's a bit like asking if a people carrier would be good to race in F1, or using a ping pong paddle to play tennis.

In short, no.

But like UncleFunky said, great to use for listening.

I seriously doubt it. Rega make audiophile gear.

The plinth looks pretty light. It doesn't have a pitch control. The torque is probably not good enough to pull back the platter.

There's a billion reasons not to use it for mixing.

It's bound to be awesome for listening though.
