How to link to other posts within a thread (without opening new window)?
Posted on: 15.07.2013 by Merlyn Birchfield
Just wondering if someone knows how to place a link in a post so that it acts like a "Table of Contents"... that is, it will link to other parts in the thread, but without opening in a new window.

For example, I started this new thread. In the future, as new episodes are released, I'd like to edit the first post and add a link to the latest episode, so they can "snap" right to it.

The way I did it works:

Code:
url="http://community
.djranking
s.com/showthread.php?t=73641&p=636779#post636780"
but it opens in a new window which might be kind of annoying. Any workarounds?

Thankss!

You can't edit the first post after a specified time (not sure what that is exactly)
I would recommend subscribing to your own thread and just updating it when you need to.
