John Andersson have been producing music since the early 1990’s and released over 70 singles under the Laid, Zoo Brazil, Cuba Computers, Nars, The Kelly Project, The Wiggs and Outcold names and has steadily carved out a reputation as one of dance music’s most innovative and respected producer.

He has worked with and remixed some of the world’s largest artists including Fatboy Slim (Skint/Astralwerks), Human Leauge (Virgin), Dannii Mingoue (FFRR), and Nitin Sawney (V2), as well as a whole host of the most respected and credible ‘underground’ dance acts like James Holden (Loaded/Border Com.), Ian Pooley (V2/Ministry Of Sound) Blaze (Slip N Slide), Dirty Vegas (Credence/EMI), Lo Fidelity Allstars (Skint/Astralwerks), Zoot Woman/Stuart Price (Madonna’s producer) (Wall of Sound/EMI), and many more.

He has released on labels like Get Physical, Systematic, Harthouse, Hooj Choons, Strictly Rhythm, SoSound, Music For Freaks, Dessous, Paper Recordings, Moody, Yoshitoshi, EStereo, Ministry of Sound, Pooled Music, Airtight, Universal, Strobe Music, Plastic City, and Airtight to name just a few.

As Laid, he has produced an impressive collection of remixes and original productions. The the- debut Laid album is due for release in May of 2006 on the much respected Loaded/Skint records, home to Fatboy Slim, Xpress2, Dave Clarke, Tiga and Super Collider.

Forthcoming original productions scheduled for release in 2006 on labels including Get Physical Music, Harthouse, Systematic, Fine Music, Universial, Tsuba, Loaded, Ministry of Sound, Stealth, SoSound, Ian Pooley’s label Pooled Music, Pickadoll, and much more to put-come.
