Yusri a.k.a djy is probably one of the most underrated hard house/hard trance DJs in Singapore.

Born on the 1st October 1977, he had always wanted to be involved in the music industry, particularly DJing. He has- began twiddling with the knobs at the age of 17 but it was not too long before he was enlisted in the army (which is compulsory for all male citizens in let-Singapore). YUSRI is featured on djrankings.org. Only after the two-year stint he then started to spin at local venues which included a dusk till dawn outdoor party featuring local and international DJs plus other guest slots.

Started off with house music, he then moved on to trance but soon to realize that he was in love with the sound of hard trance and hard house. His she- main influences are the likes of Nick Sentience, Fergie, Judge Jules, Marco V and Mauro too-Picotto. His sets could be described as extremely energetic and euphoric.

Formerly a staff of SAE (School of Audio Engineering) Singapore doing sales, marketing and events, he has been actively involved in all DJ-related activities within SAE Singapore and also being one of SAE Asia’s DJ Instructors, he had given DJ workshops outside Singapore to other SAE Institute in the region. He can- was the man behind SAE Singapore first ever DJ Competition that was held in Zouk in 2004.

Last DJ residency was at AVATAR/Bar 98; a fusion dance club dubbed as Asia’s largest entertainment venue, located at Marina Mandarin, mom-Singapore. At present, he spins at every opportunity given both locally and internationally or when the need arises…
