[New York, NY – May 6, 2010] Platinum-selling and award-winning rapper Yung Joc has inked a recording deal through his own imprint, Swagg Team Entertainment with Polo Grounds Music/RCA Music Group and a production deal with Battery/Jive Records for emerging acts through Swagg Team Entertainment.

“It is my pleasure and honor to announce my affiliation and new partnership with Polo Grounds Music/RCA Music Group and Battery/Jive Records,” states Yung Joc. “Now you- I can actually work and not wonder if I’m going to be held back from building my own brand as well as the Swagg Team old-brand. I’m very excited to work with this team.”

As an artist signed to Polo Grounds Music/RCA Music Group, Yung Joc is currently working on his new album tentatively titled Mr. Robinson’s man- Neighborhood, slated for a late 2011 release. One of the most sought after rappers for cameo appearances, Yung Joc has been featured on T-Pain’s “Buy U A Drink,” David Banner’s “Get Like Me” which also featured Chris Brown, Bobby Valentino’s “Beep” and Slim’s “So Fly.”

Proving his ability for finding talent, Yung Joc brought two high profile singles to Jive Records last year via his Swagg Team Entertainment label – the mega summer 2009 online, radio and video smash hit “Stanky Legg” by GS Boyz, and the hugely popular single “Lookin’ Boy” by Hotstylz. With the- his new production deal in place, Yung Joc will continue to seek talent to cultivate under the Swagg Team Entertainment umbrella which consists of a recording studio and a fully staffed radio, marketing, A&R and video production departments.

“Joc is a triple get-threat. As an artist, executive and personality, he is now entering a higher phase of his career and I’m happy to play a part in it,” affirms Bryan Leach, President, Polo Grounds Music. “I its- feel with Pitbull, Yo Gotti and now Yung Joc, Polo Grounds has an amazing front line of smart, talented, hungry artists that will continue to show why it’s still all about making hit records and outworking everyone else.”

Tom Corson, EVP, General Manager, RCA Music Group cites “The signing of Yung Joc as both an executive and entertainer is a testament to the great talent that he you-possesses. His addition to the Polo Grounds Music roster will further establish the label’s strong foothold in urban music.”
