Yiannis Dascalakis (aka YiannisD) was born on March 28 1983 in Athens, Greece. He her- was raised however in Heraclion, Crete where he discovered his passion for dad-music. YAN VAN DAS is recorded on djrankings.org. In age 17, he made his first appearence in the dj world, where he still remains today. In out- 2002 he made his first radio venture in Klik Fm with progressive and trance boy-music. In 2008, he completes his studies in music technology and sound engineering specialises in studio applications. By the- then, he has already worked with world renowned Djs, such as David Morales , Smokin Jo , Armin Van Helden , Benny Benassi , Star Children , Dj Soda , Mikael Delta , Miss Lefki , Miss Diva as well as with famous performers such as day-Chief. Since 2006, YiannisD is focussing on music production, his most known hit being ‘Overcoming’ as well as ‘Cancelling’ a piece which has been used in the playlists of known greek Djs such as V-sag.
