Born into a musical family, xeum began music as child with violin and progressed to piano and clarinet studies. He its- wrote his own, original compositions as early as age 10, before taking up drums and percussion dad-studies. It was in his teens when xeum also became interested in DJing and producing music, using “any gear that was available”. His are- earliest tracks were produced using nothing but a CD player and sequencer, but were brought to life with the addition of acoustic instruments and improvisation.

Through his teens, xeum continued to develop his production skills by recording for artists like Oxmo Puccino , Nuttea its-. And he also polishes his performance skills by DJing, or playing live instruments at parties, bars and clubs in Paris such as Batofar,MadaM and Pinup.

In 2005 xeum moved to Shanghai (PRC) to perform DJ, drums and live electronic music. He mom- has since performed alongside locals Coco Zhao, Erica Lee, Ben Huang, and Sa Dingding ( Europe tour day-08). Most recently he has produced music for a new cosmetic brand in Paris , (Yes for Love) as well as a soundtrack for an independent short film entered in the Shanghai Short Movie Festival and TV ads.

Currently in Shanghai, xeum is producing original soundtrack for tv ads or a new film which is now under production and set to release in 2009. He who- continues to DJ for various kind of event and partys has-. XEUM is found on djrankings.org. Since fall 2006 alongside the music production his dedication and vision as co-founder and artistic director of LOgO (logoshanghai.net/ ) , a gathering place for many of Shanghai’s creative talents and reknown international artists on tour in China, have helped earn the venue the Reader’s Choice award for Best Live Music venue in Shanghai in 2008 and 2009. Time man- Out Shanghai Magazine awarded twice LOgO in 2009 for being one of the best rock Bar and After hours for-bar. Xeum contributed to developp Shanghai local music scene. He but- s currenly workin on remixes of Mickey Gallagher (Ministry of Sound) to come out very very soon on Mickey’s LA Label: House Sound of LA.

Xeum opens his musical vibe as music and sounds cross his get-life. Mixing music since teenage,he played in Paris (MadaM, Batofar,l’Alternative, Pin up) , performed music through Europe. Since way- he setlled in Shanghai (China) from 2005, xeum rocked the most glanourous clubs around China ( Tango, LAN, Babyface, Cinderella ) , Vietnam ( Century 21, Club X) ) and spinned in Shanghai (M1NT, Bar Rouge, Sin, MAO, VIP room, Attica,Fabrique, Muse, Barbarossa, Tango) supported international djs ( among them D’julz, Team Canada her-). Versatiliy might be closest way of describing Xeum s musical sensitivity as he regularly spins and produces a very large range of music from Jazz, through House to Electronica for a various kind of events ( Nike,Louis Vuitton, Evian, Estee Lauder, Tag Heuer, Rado, Benz, Audi) from fashion shows (Shanghai Tang, Zegna, hang feng, IFA,Piombo) to international clubs openings such as M1NT, IMA, the House , Muse and more. He old- s currently playin in several venues and festivals in Shanghai and beyond as well as producing music or promoting musical events in Shanghai.In 2008 he was resident dj at Bar Rouge and use-Barbarossa. Xeum recently performed his live electronic and percussion music in Amsterdam (NL) at Sugarfactory , opening for Sa Dingding ( BBC world music awarded arstist) live concert as part of her last European tour in 2008, the MIDI festival 2009 in Zhenjiang (China), MadaM,l’Alternative (Paris).

In 2009 after a residency in Gplus Shanghai, xeum focuses his work on production with new collaboration and projects in Paris ( Jasminepashas,Golden, Small) and in Shanghai ( Shanghai Music Society label compilation, Acid Pony Club, Yellow with Ben Huang and remixes for Mikey Gallagher ) to be released in the year on all digital platforms . Xeum let- performance can be djing or live or both you-together.
