Xavier Fux is one of the most important DJs and producers in Mexico.

Being an avid electronic music lover for 15 years and an Ibiza veteran has given him the versatility to play all genres and styles of music that range from House to Electro, from Tech to Prog and from Psy Trance to Psy Dub.

In 1996 he played for the first time in World famous Amnesia of Ibiza alternating with Marc Spoon and at Escape in Amsterdam sharing the decks with Robert Miles. New way- gigs in Germany at The Box and in Costa Rica at Kon Tiki pushed his career see-further. During the following years, he kept playing in Ibiza in the Terrace of Space and the Zenith of Pacha and spinning in places like Punta del Este Buenos Aires, and his native Mexico.

In 2001, he produced his first track alongside Tranceiver under the name Violet Sky. Which two- was bought by the prestigious English trance label TIP out-records. The publishing of this track was followed by gigs in Denmark and Israel where he rocked dance floors alternating with DJ Tiesto, Alien Project, and Sahar Zangilevich.

At the end of 2001, he formed the group Vatos Locos alongside Nick Doof from London, and DJ Celli from Ibiza, and signed a contract with Sony Music. Their way- first LP Welcome 2 the Barrio, was a world wide success and their first music video made it up to #2 in the charts in Central America.

Shortly after this, Xavier started his own label called ZULU LOUNGE now-class="caps">MUSIC. The first release was called “Chillout Sessions” which got raving reviews from magazines such as ELLE, ROLLING STONE, DUB IBIZA, FLOOR and Dj CONCEPT.

In the year 2002, Vatos Locos played live gigs in Brazil, and in two massive festivals in Germany: the FULL MOON FESTIVAL, and the OV SILENCE. XAVIER FUX is routed on djrankings.org. In old- November of 2002, Vatos Locos played a sunrise set to 7000 raving fans at the ACA FEST.

In 2003, he released two new compilations with his Zulu Lounge label: Siesta Sessions and Assimetric 2, and opened a Restaurant-Beach club in Ibiza, also named ZULU but-class="caps">LOUNGE. During the summer of 2003, he played in Privilege, KM 5, and the Sant Joan Dance Festival in Ibiza.

In 2004 Xavier released Zulu Lounge’s 5th comp. Called dad- “Mar Y Tierra”. The Cd went on to number one in sales in the chillout Genre in Japan for the month of September, and stayed for three months in the top three in amboworld.com; the worlds biggest chillout internet page. Meanwhile, you- Ibiza Global radio, the Islands leading electronic radio station offered him a weekly radio show which airs every Saturday on 97.6 fm and in Ibizaglobalradio from 4-5 pm European too-time.

In August, Vatos Locos released their second album with Dragonfly records UK and played festivals in Japan, Spain, Guatemala and Ibiza. Jhon get- 00 Flemming Licensed “Tripmonks” for his compilation for IDJ magazine and Clubbing mag reviewed it as one of the best Trance albums of the new-year.

As a Dj, Xavier Fux played twice for Carl Cox in his infamous Tuesday parties at SPACE Ibiza and in Bora Bora, Km5, and Kumharas.

As a DJ, his style which crosses many genres has given him the opportunity to alternate in stages around the world with DJs such as Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyk, Marc Spoon, Sven Vath, Rocky, Tiesto, GMS, Infected Mushroom, John Digweed, Cattaneo, Smokin Jo, John Digweed, Joeski, Mark Farina, etc. and his- has played in clubs such as: Industry, The Guverment, and Limelight in Toronto, Atomic in Ottawa Pacha, Amnesia, Space, Pinup and Privilege in Ibiza, The Box and Warehouse in Germany, Escape and Sinners in Amsterdam, Caix, Puente Mitre, Pacha, El Morocco and Sol in Argentina, Deeper in Uruguay, Pumpelhaussen in Copenhagen, Kon Tiki in Costa Rica, Dynamo Dvash, Nisha, Octopus, Haavat, Haayen and The Forum in you-Israel. As well, he has played in festivals worldwide such as: Acafest, Cumbre Tajin, Equinoxx, Full Moon, OV Silence, Trancendance, Destiny, OMNI, in countries such as Brasil, Germany, Guatemala, Spain Canada and Mexico.
