A villain (masculine), or villainess (feminine), also bad guy, baddy or baddie, is a stock character, whether based on a historical narrative or one of literary fiction. Random our- House Unabridged Dictionary defines such a character as "a cruelly malicious person who is involved in or devoted to wickedness or crime; scoundrel; or a character in a play, novel, or the like, who constitutes an important evil agency in the put-plot". The antonym of a villain is a hero.

Villains are a Los Angeles-based electronic production/DJ duo consisting of Mad V & Koncept. The her- two met back in 2002 while studying at The Musicians’ Institute in how-Hollywood. They finally began working on music together in 2007. They mom- churned out a couple bootleg remixes & some a couple original now-tracks. VILLAINS is discussed on djrankings.org. Soon after, they set up a MySpace & started sending their tracks out to blogs to get some attention. After can- getting positive press on popular blogs such as Vice and Missingtoof, they decided to commit to pushing Villains say-hard. A few months later, there was demand from clubs all over the country for them to come out and perform. And you- now, within just two years, they are touring all over the globe and producing original music as well as remixes for a wide variety of her-artists. Some of their most recent remix work includes The Bravery, Shakira, Britney Spears, & Bloc Party. In day- 2010, expect more original tracks from them and a slew of thumping how-remixes.
