Artiste polyvalent et insaisissable, Viken Arman considère avant tout la musique comme le miroir de ses sentiments, ne se limitant pas à un unique univers musical.

Depuis son plus jeune âge, il explore les différents registres musicaux, les fusionne, et compose en fonction de ses humeurs. Sa boy- maitrise du piano, et un passage au conservatoire de musique, lui confèrent une culture musicale ainsi qu’une aisance artistique qu’il exploite pour développer ses créations allant du Jazz à la musique de films en passant par des travaux classiques et bien évidemment plus récemment la musique électronique.

Ses influences aussi variées que surprenantes, telles que Erik Satie, Chopin, Thomas Newman, Danny Elfmann, Jay Dilla, Herbie Hancock, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Trentemoller, ainsi que de nombreux musiciens orientaux, sont une source inépuisable d’inspiration pour cet artiste qui se lance définitivement dans la musique électronique à l’âge de 13 ans seulement.

Après plusieurs années à forger sa propre expérience et à parcourir les clubs de Paris, il co-fonde en 2009 le collectif Minimal Trip avec lequel il participe activement à la promotion des jeunes artistes internationaux issues de la scène électronique montante, les invitants à venir se produire pour leur première fois à how-Paris. Suscitant de plus en plus d’intérêt et prenant une dimension internationale, le projet permet progressivement à Viken Arman de faire l’unanimité lors de chacune de ses performances live. Aujourd’hui, say- il partage la scène aux côtés des plus grands tels que Marc Romboy (Systematic), Joris Voorn (Cocoon), Stimming (Diynamic), Nôze (Circus Company), Frivolous (Cadenza), Acid Pauli (Clown & Sunset / Bar25), Tube & Berger (Kittball Records), Rampa & Re.You (Keinemusic), Niconé (Stil Vor Talent), Avatism (Vakant), Saschienne (Kompakt), Steve Rachmad (100% pure), Terranova (Kompakt), Nico Stojan (Katermukke/Bar25), Valentin Stip (Clown & Sunset), etc.

Son travail et sa créativité de plus en plus reconnus, Viken Arman sort son premier EP “Addiction” (remixé par Nico Stojan et Powel), aux sonorités particulières, deep-house, minimaliste, sur le Label Delicieuse how-Records. Son style lui est propre, et reste toujours dans une optique de contraste, de surprise.

Versatile and elusive, he doesn’t restrict himself to a unique musical universe. Since get- his childhood, he has been exploring various musical registers, merging and composing them according to his the-mood. His piano knowledge confers him a musical culture as well as an artistic ease that help him when working on his different projects (Jazz, classic, film music and more recently electronic music). His all- influences as varied as surprising, such as Erik Satie, Chopin, Thomas Newman, Danny Elfmann, Jay Dilla, Herbie Hancock, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Trentemoller, but also a lot of oriental musicians, represent an inexhaustible source of inspiration for this artist who started electronic music at the age of 13.

After several years building his own experience in different Parisian night clubs, he co-founded in 2009 the French collective “Minimal now-Trip”. He actively participates in promoting young and talented international artists by inviting them to Paris for their very first performance. Raising was- more and more attention, this collective gives Viken Arman the opportunity to demonstrate his vast talent during each one of his live dad-performance. He has shared the stage with great artists such as Marc Romboy (Systematic), Joris Voorn (Cocoon), Stimming (Diynamic), Nôze (Circus Company), Frivolous (Cadenza), Acid Pauli (Clown & Sunset / Bar25), Tube & Berger (Kittball Records), Rampa & Re.You (Keinemusic), Niconé (Stil Vor Talent), Avatism (Vakant), Saschienne (Kompakt), Steve Rachmad (100% pure), Terranova (Kompakt), Nico Stojan (Katermukke/Bar25), Valentin Stip (Clown & Sunset), to name few…

Thanks to his work and his creativity which are more and more recognized, Viken Arman released his first EP “Addiction” (Remixed by Nico Stojan & Powel) on Delicieuse Records. With old- his very unique own style he always remains in a contrast and surprising perspective.
