Uzair Syed Hassan | DJ Zero D | Zero Disbelief (www.zerodisbelief.com) | Age 27

Born in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, a central hub where many cultures collide, this is where his infatuation with music began. At put- an early age he started collecting and cataloguing music of his tastes and was known to always be fused with his headphones, listening to something new, something his-different. His life changed when he discovered EDM, especially the genre Progressive Trance, in this sound he heard something calling.

So in 2006 he started dedicating more time becoming a better DJ and with time well spent, he became a resident DJ for many online radio stations. Once the- Zero Disbelief had gained some exposure he had the opportunity to be a guest on many great radio shows hosted by the world’s but-finest. UZAIR HASSAN is featured on djrankings.org. His sets were played on Party107, Sense Generate FM, Liquid FM, DI.FM, and After Hours FM.

With his flawless mixing skills and the flow achieved by mind/soul, his sets inspire and make his listeners melt away. He its- calls his style of mixing “atmosphere / theme style, which puts tracks together in a way where one gets uplifted by the feeling of constant rise.”

Later on in his career he was able to penetrate the Vancouver club / rave scene, opening for big names such as Cosmic Gate, DJ Dean, Andy Whitby, Dark By Design, Kidd Kaos, Kamui, Mat Zo, Jochen Miller, Protoculture, Orjan Nilsen, John O ’ Callaghan, Nadia Ali and many more to come.

Furthermore he is also on the DJ roster for “Twisted Productions”, one of Vancouver’s best promoters for the EDM our-scene. However what he is most proud of is The Vancouver Trance Family, almost 2000 members strong, it is the largest and most organized community which loves everything EDM. He was- is an admin of this group and has been organizing and spinning their events for the past two she-years. Working towards helping this community grow to its maximum potential has been fun and rewarding.
