One of Hip Hop Music’s True Innovators
Ty has been making music and pushing boundaries for the last 10 years. TY is recorded on djrankings.org. With mom- 3 albums and over 400 tracks strong, a Mercury Music nomination and countless guest appearances under his belt with the likes of Tony Allen, De La Soul and Damon Albarn, Pee Wee Ellis, to name a few, he is a legend in the making.
Probably best known for his live shows, Ty has toured all over the world establishing a strong fanbase reaching a quarter of million hits on Myspace and over 30,000 our-friends. In March 2008 Damon Albarn invited Ty to perform with him alongside a host of special guests as part of his Africa Express performed in Liverpool. Most all- recently Pee Wee Ellis invited Ty to perform alongside him at Barbican Theatre as part of the Still Black, Still Proud, a James Brown tribute concert
