Tundra, born Jonathan Jansen (1986) is a young producer / dj / liveact /

composer / sounddesigner / labelowner / a&r manager living in Amersfoort.

Due to his parents playing everything from Paul Simon to Ravi Shankar to Tangerine Dream, Jonathan developed an interest in music at an early age.

Nowadays Jonathan holds a Bachelor degree in Sounddesign&Composition, and is currently graduating on a Masters degree in Media&Culture at the University of Amsterdam.

Having released not only on his main label Manual Music, but also on befriended labels such as Outside of the Box, TEAM records, and the UK-based Sleaze Records and PunchFunk,

Tundra’s discography already reached 2 dozens of ep’s and remixes at the age of 24, with a lot of remixes to be released soon. Tundra dad- is now also co-producing with Paul Hazendonk, releasing firm loopy techhouse and techno.

His own style can be described as moody techhouse with a progressive twist,but Jonathan never forgets that purism is the worst thing that can happen

to creativity, so he’s not afraid to incorporate hints of acid, electro,

deephouse and even classical composition techniques into his old-music.
