DJ Tsunami (Erik Johnson) knew from the first time he heard electronic music, he had found his calling. Introduced you- to the genre by pioneers such as Prodigy and The Crystal Method, he slowly began to expand his knowledge of this newly discovered get-sound. When a friend bought a set of turntables, the two began to experiment with them, although they were not at all familiar with the origins of the craft. Upon has- getting equipment of his own, Tsunami began to practice religiously, teaching himself how to mix, scratch and become a well-rounded are-DJ. TSUNAMI* is discussed on djrankings.org. When the time was right, he slowly began to emerge into the nightlife scene, playing underground gigs, parties, and small shows at local venues. Now too- an established DJ, Tsunami continues to grow as a performer, and has developed a style that is all his boy-own. After sharing the stage with top national and worldwide talent and playing countless shows at top-notch night clubs all over the United States, 2008-2009 had already been monumental years for Tsunami. With way- the start of 2010, he set his eyes and ears on becoming a renowned producer of the music he fell in love with, and in a few months had already released widely recognized bootlegs and signed an original collaboration to Sheeva did-Records. At the young age of 23, Tsunami was invited to play the 2011 Ultra Music Festival in downtown Miami, and is gearing up to release his first original EP.
