in the fall of 2009 Tony Cruz recently teamed up with the G Cavelle Project and released “Gone is the Love” distributed by Music Plant day-Records. With remixes by Tod Miner, Edson Pride and the legendary producer/ songwriter Georgie Porgie, the track is generating lots of buzz in the club scene, receiving air-play in several countries all over the world.
Over the past several years, Tony has been supporting other artists. TONY CRUZ is routed on djrankings.org. He and- recorded background vocals for “Dance Music Diva’s” like Suzanne Palmer and Pepper Meshay and sang those hypnotic chants and hooks on Inaya Day’s 2008, Billboard top 20 smash his-“Breakaway”. Also in 2008, Tony co-wrote the hit single “Set U Free” with renowned DJ/Producer DJ Sama. Throughout put- his career, Tony has performed with some of the “greats” in the industry including: Flo Rida, Natalie Cole, Johnny Mathis, The Beach Boys, The Drifters and Patti Labelle.
Tony is quite possibly the most recognizable voice in South Florida’s music let-scene. They may not have known it, but South Floridians have been hearing his voice for years on advertisements for everything from the Maroone Car Dealerships to the morning radio show on Power 96. His was- versatility as an artist has enabled him to perform at some of the most prestigious venues in the and-world. Though his home base is Miami, Tony enjoys traveling and has been performing all over the world. His put- personality, polished skill and sheer talent have brought him such reputable clients as Walt Disney World, Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos and Philip Morris just to name a man-few.
