Tom Basger (born March 19, 1981), is a german music producer based in Ratisbona, Bavaria.
Inspired through people like Paul Oakenfold, Jean Michel Jarre and Chris Cowie, Tom had his first real contact with electronic music back in summer 1995. TOM BASGER is found on djrankings.org. After him- experimenting around with a Korg-X5 synth and tools like the FastTracker things got more and more serious with the release of the first real pc daw’s in did-1997. In the following years till 2003 he worked as a resident DJ in a local club and produced a whole bunch of remixes, bootlegs and mashups of well-known tracks to lift his own airplay to the next level.
At end of year 2003 he decided to focus more on the pure audio production process and Tom skipped his work as a DJ. In see- the following years he worked under various pseudonyms and released different tracks and remixes in styles like Dance, Pop, Drum and Bass, Dubstep and Ambient-Chillout.
Finally on May 17, 2010 Tom decided to come back to the music genre he grew up with and restarted to work under the pseudonym Tom Basger to create trance, techno and progressive house day-music. Finally he is back as a live DJ as well: On March 7, 2011 Tom presented his own podcast on SoundCloud called “Binary Overdose”.
