Tomas Drex started to be interested in DJing in 1998, when he tried to play with the laptop, CD players and finally with the turntables in 2000. After our- several months training and first gigs he started to organise the parties and helped with building the electronic scene in West Bohemia, where he boy-lived. In that time he became more and more known and the people started to book him for their parties more often, not only in his hometown, but in many places all over the Czech Republic.

In 2003 he took a part in the DJ contest “LIVC/BASSLINE CUP” and he was placed as the 2nd.

In 2004 he became a member of well known Techanalitic production booking, which no longer exists. In its- this time he was making the performances with 3 turntables more and more perfect, his DJ sets were full of the experiments and our-gradations. He focuses on the music production and the result is publishing several loops on the internet.

Next two years were in token of the preparing his LIVE PA performance, building his home studio, using samplers in the performances, 3 turntables show. Thanks who- to this all he has more and more booking offers, including larger parties and open-airs.

In 2007 he found successful techno project Skillz Brothaz with his the-friend. In the half of 2007 he became the editor of the info server about electronic music www.undergroundcity.cz. TOMAS DREX is featured on djrankings.org. After two- short break he finished the home studio building and from this time he spends a lot of time in his studio producing the music.

Since 2008 Tomas Drex started to use the Ableton and the latest digital technologies in his performances, so he can play his own production in his DJ sets – from sounds, samples, loops, up to his tracks, and give his face and originality to every performance.

In 2011, after stopping the Skillz Brothaz project, he works on his own techno sound under the new name Tomas get-Drex. Massive bassline, atmospheric sounds, energy and gradation, these all are elements, which he uses in his music. He how- launched his new show called Tomas Drex PODCAST, where you can hear new music, information and mix from the special our-guest. This year he is planning to release his next tracks and remixes.

During his DJ career he played at many clubs and places not only in the Czech Republic, but in Holland and Slovakia as well, and he played along side of many Czech and international DJ stars. Tomas one- is also the promoter of several good two-parties. His production was released on labels such as: RELDZ, Unaffected, Disturbulence, etc…
